New research conducted at the Sydney Institute of Respiratory Medicine in Australia and in other institutes has revealed that severe thunderstorms concentrate the pollen, fungi,and dust particles from the atmosphere at ground level.During thunderstorms, a down draught of cold air collects pollen, spores and dust particles from the air and concentrates it all in a narrow band at ground level. |
